Privacy Policy

Scanaviz is currently operated by its founder as an individual, based in Illinois, United States. It is not yet operated through a formed company. Privacy requests go to privacy@scanaviz.com.

• Account: your email address and password. Authentication is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Your activity in the product: watchlists, saved filters and scanner conditions, alerts, notes you write about tokens, and display preferences.
• Notifications: in-app notifications and alert records tied to your account.

Premium payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted pages. Scanaviz does not receive or store your full card number.

Scanaviz stores your subscription status, plan and billing interval, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to link your account to your billing record.

• Product events: we record a small set of named events from the Premium and pricing pages (for example, a page view or a checkout started), with the related details the event carries. These are stored in our own database. We do not use a third-party analytics service in the current product.
• Usage counters: we count your use of rate-limited features, such as scans, to enforce plan limits.
• IP address: some requests carry your IP address. Liquidity Intelligence requests use a hashed form of it for rate limiting. The raw address is not stored in that rate-limit record.

Only if you choose Accept all on our cookie notice: if you arrive through a link with campaign parameters (such as utm_source), we keep the first campaign you came from in a cookie named sv_attribution for 30 days. If you then sign up, that attribution is saved to your account and to our marketing records, so we can see which campaigns bring people to Scanaviz. If you choose Essential only, nothing is recorded.

Your choice is stored in the sv_consent cookie for 365 days.

Campaign attribution is not used to send marketing email. Our only email is transactional: alerts and the daily digest you requested.

• Required for sign-in: session cookies set by our authentication provider, Supabase, so you stay signed in.
• Premium status: a signed, short-lived cookie (sb-premium-confirmed) that keeps a recently confirmed Premium status in place if our subscription check is briefly unavailable.
• Campaign attribution (non-essential): the sv_attribution cookie described above. Set only with your consent.
• Cookie choice: the sv_consent cookie records your choice. It is essential because it keeps your choice. Full list: Cookie Policy.
• Charts: when you choose the TradingView chart option, a script is loaded from TradingView, which may set its own cookies in your browser. Their policy applies to that script.

Browser storage is used only for display conveniences: your chart type (sessionStorage, cleared when the browser session ends) and your Visualize watchlist entries (localStorage, kept in that browser until cleared).

• to provide the product, including your watchlists, filters, alerts, and notes;
• to send alert emails and the daily alert digest you have subscribed to, and to honor unsubscribe requests;
• to run subscriptions and billing through Stripe;
• to enforce plan limits and rate limits, and to protect the service from abuse;
• to understand which campaigns bring people to Scanaviz and how the pricing pages perform.

We use the following providers to run Scanaviz. Each receives only what it needs for its role.

• Supabase: database, authentication, and server functions.
• Stripe: payments and subscription management.
• Resend: delivery of alert and digest emails.
• Anthropic: generates the AI market brief shown on the home page from market figures, and the AI-assisted interpretation text in On-Chain Intelligence from an asset’s on-chain activity metrics. Neither prompt includes account data.

Market-data providers receive requests from Scanaviz’s servers for market data. Those requests are not intended to include your personal information. See Data Sources & Attribution.

Retention periods for account data, activity records, and attribution records are being finalized. They will be published here before launch.

You can edit or delete items you create in the product, such as watchlist entries, alerts, and notes. You can unsubscribe from the alert digest email using the link in it.

There is no self-service account deletion in the app yet. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information, including deletion of your account, email privacy@scanaviz.com. We will confirm your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

When an account is deleted, we will remove or de-identify the personal information listed in this policy, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. Those retention rules are part of the open retention item in section 8.

Scanaviz is not directed at children under 13, or the higher minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email the privacy request address in section 9 and we will delete it.

We use access controls and server-side checks to protect account and subscription data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

When this policy changes materially, we update its version and date. Check the date at the top of this page.
